I was checking my email in my living room
suddenly the ceiling started to shake, thought it was my friend running on the 2nd floor
then the wall started to shake, thought it was someone banging the wall outside my house
then the whole house start to shake violently, it was an earthquake

I would say it feel more like a tremor
Went to read the news, it was 5.6 on the Richter scale, but it was quite near (epicentere was less than 30 km away)

My house is in Mountain view, the epicenter was about 30 km to the right ;)

I guess this is one of the perks living in one of the most earthquake prone zone in the world ;P

It fulfilled my wish of experience an earthquake (and survive it) before i go back to Singapore

P/S: San Andreas fault is less than 10 miles away....totally cool man....
