HUGE photo update....this place is called Death Valley....bascially...it's a huge valley (US largest national park)...and in between the mountain ranges are deserts, sand...more sand...rocks....and a dried up salt creek(where it's the lowest point in the northern hemisphere)....look at the sand dunes man...the view is breathtaking...espeically if you were there to see the sun rise...which i did....=)

threading on the ridge of the sand dunes....since we are there before the sun was up...the sand was actually very cold...total contrast to the hot sun that is rising...and the sand is as fine as you can get liao...
the sun rise...my friend took a video of the whole process...will upload it later ba...

look at the color of the mountain ranges behind as the sun's rays fall upon it...

This is badwater...supposedly the lowest point in the northern hemisphere...the area behind me is all salt by the way...

travel mates....

and i can't believe someone actually drove a monster truck to Death Valley...i heard this is a small version...can't imagine how the big version looks like...heard that it's wheels are as high as me...

and along the freeway to Death Valley...we saw some bikers with their Harley Davidsons...people here ride bike simply because it's cool...and it's really cool lah...

and wind farm which we saw along the way....take from the minivan...

oh....and we went hiking at one of the trails...easy easy one....so that can save the energy to take photos...heh...

this part of the hills are called the Artist's Palette...cause of the different colors of the surface...due to the different minerals within the rocks...
