I currently writing this as i have absolute NOTHING to do on my first day of internship at my company. I have so many things to show you guys, but i simply don't have the mood to at the moment as all my efforts are into searching for a car to drive (will be test driving a Mazda MX3 later tonight...)and a house to stay. Wait till i get more settle down, i definitely tell you guys all about it, photos included.

Just a very very brief insight into the life here in sub-urban Californai:

1) Time zone here is 16 hours behind Singapore time.
2) It's one of the coldest winter this year, it falls to below zero at night.
3) Night falls at 4pm.
4) There are so many fast food outlets here that i have only seen ONE Macdonald's
5) Normal chinese mixed vegetable rice here cost US$7
6) Free phone calls(incoming AND outgoing) within the same Telco provider
7) Almost everyone drives, be it a young teenager or your grandma next door.
8) Supermarkets the size of Carrefour are the norm.
9) You always tip about 10% at resturants(but i no money so eat fast food almost everyday)
10)You can get sun burnt go around looking for a house in winter.
11)Just 5 days here and i have driven more than all i have in Singapore combined(I drove 1 hour to San Francisco, exited at the wrong exit twice though)

More to come...wish me luck in my car and house hunt!!!
